St. Moritz also St.Mauritius, locally known as Moritzkirche it was built in 1388 on the site of an earlier Romanesque church, it features late_Gothic sculptures and has an organ from 1926. It also gained importance within the city as a parish church of the Halleschen Pfänkeit (salt workers).
